Blocks and styling,
with a twist.

Flexible Gutenberg blocks styled with only the rules you want to change — plus reusable classes, presets, variables and breakpoints.

WordPress 6.5+ · Native Gutenberg · GPLv2

SVG

Render a Lucide icon, uploaded SVG, or inline SVG markup.

List

Configurable bullets: default, image, icon, SVG, counter, or none.

Counter

Tabs

Tabbed content with InnerBlocks-based tab panels.

Accordion

Item-based toggle panels for FAQs and long content.

Slider

Maps

Classic Menu

Classic menu block rendered from WordPress menus.

The Styler

Classes, variables, breakpoints, and states — from a single panel.

Add only what you style

No panels for every property. Add just the rules you want to change, using visual controls or raw CSS — the same rules either way.

Four breakpoints, one workflow

Set styles per breakpoint — desktop, tablet, landscape phone, and phone — without leaving the editor. No custom stylesheets, no fighting theme.json.

Classes you edit live

Create reusable classes and edit their CSS right in the editor. Apply them across blocks and pages — update once and every use reflects it.

Sub-selectors for states and inner parts

Add selectors to a block to style hover and other states, or to reach its inner components — all from the same panel, no extra CSS files.

And you can also define CSS variables as design tokens, assign them with autocomplete in any rule, and start from presets for layouts, buttons, cards, and surfaces before tuning every detail.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need to know CSS to use Motto Blocks? +

Basic CSS knowledge is recommended. Motto Blocks exposes CSS properties visually in the editor — you set values like you would in a stylesheet, without writing code. If you know what padding, flex, or font-size do, you'll be comfortable.

Does Motto Blocks work with any WordPress theme? +

Yes. Motto Blocks is built on the native Gutenberg block API and does not depend on any specific theme. It works with block themes, classic themes, and Full Site Editing.

What is Motto Styler exactly? +

Motto Styler is the styling system built into the plugin. It lets you set CSS properties per block and breakpoint, create reusable style classes, manage CSS variables as design tokens, and define presets — all from within the block editor, without touching a stylesheet.

What is the difference between Motto Blocks Pro and Motto Dynamics? +

Motto Blocks Pro extends the plugin with premium blocks like the Marquee and Panel Trigger, dynamic image and link sources, and extra Styler tools. Motto Dynamics is a separate add-on focused on dynamic content: post loops, taxonomy queries, filters, and ACF field binding inside query templates.

What happens to my content if I deactivate Pro? +

It keeps rendering. The free plugin always renders saved content — Pro only unlocks editor features and extra blocks, so pages built with Pro never break on the frontend.

Does Motto Dynamics require ACF? +

Motto Dynamics can work with native WordPress post meta fields. ACF Pro integration is available as an optional data source for Dynamic Text and Dynamic Image blocks.

What is Motto AI? +

Motto AI is an add-on that adds an editor sidebar where you describe a layout in plain language and get back configured Motto blocks with valid Styler attributes. You connect your own Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI API key. It requires Motto Blocks.

When will Pro, Dynamics, and AI be available? +

All three are currently in development. Motto Blocks Free will be submitted to the WordPress.org directory shortly. Sign up to be notified when they launch.
